Under the Liquor Act 2010 it is mandatory for all persons involved in the supply of liquor (including crowd controllers who work at licensed premises) to complete an approved Responsible Service of Alcohol course.
ACT RSA training will be required to be updated every three years if you are:

Duration: 4 hour short course with 2 hour pre-course assessment to be completed prior to attending the course. ASEC recommends collecting the pre-course manual and assessment at least 3 days prior to your course.

There are no prerequisites or entry requirements for this unit. Please note, undertaking this qualification prior to turning 18 years age is permissible however individuals cannot serve or sell alcohol until they have turned 18.
The cost of the RSA course is $120.
On successful completion of the unit students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment. Once a person receives a certificate from an approved RSA course, the certificate will be valid for 3 years.
Students will need to collect the RSA Pre-Course manual and workbook at least three (3) days prior to attending their class. The Pre-Course workbook must be completed and presented to your Instructor upon arrival.
