HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

General information about course

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Pre-requisites for course

Participants MUST complete a pre-course workbook before attending the practical First Aid Course. ASEC recommends collecting the pre-course workbook at least three (3) days prior to your class. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THE FIRST AID PRE-COURSE WORKBOOK AS YOU MUST ACHIEVE A 100% MARK TO BE COMPETENT AND GET YOUR CERTIFICATE. If you do not attain 100% then you will be required to remain in the class at the end to review incorrect answers.

Overseas Students Please Read

As ASEC is not CRICOS Registered Overseas Students who have a subclass visa 500 are not eligible to join our Certificate II or III in Security Operations (this is a Government requirement).
